Studio III Clinical Services
We are a highly experienced and well respected, multi-disciplinary organisation with specialist consultants in psychology, psychiatry, counselling, child care, education and behavioural management.
We work with both individuals with difficulties and with their carers. This includes individualised assessments, a range of therapeutic approaches as well as staff and carer support.
Studio III Clinical Services provides specialist client-centred support to :
- Organisations working with adults and young people with challenging behaviours.
- Adults and young people who find their own behaviours difficult to manage.
Our approaches are holistic and person-centred. We use behaviour management strategies that focus on the avoidance of confrontation and the use of consistent, risk assessed planned interventions. Our work with staff teams addresses staff perceptions of difficult behaviours and aims to develop staff confidence, improve awareness and promote consistency. The approaches focus not only on behaviour change but also on successful behaviour management.
For services
Crisis management, clinical assessments, clinical supervision and team support, risk assessments, policy development, non-aversive reactive plans, pro-active behaviour management plans, placement and scheme development, service audit and service profile.
For individuals
Anger management, work on sexuality and relationships, problems with attachments, counselling and self management skills, communication support, self injury and self harm support, alternatives to challenging behaviours, functional analysis and developing meaningful and purposeful activities.
Medico Legal Work
Our “expert witness” service, developed over many years, aims to provide help to services, individual staff or clients who may be facing court procedures, appearing at mental health tribunals or appealing at disciplinary hearings.
