Hi Michelle
If you can give us a bit more info about where you live we can almost certainly point you in the right direction. It sounds like you're having a tough time and it's good you got in contact. Alternately you could ring the Studio 3 office as they have good database of contacts.
Good luck

This sounds extremely distressing for the both of you. To answer your main question we really need more information. It is true that you should be entitled to support from your local services. In addition I would suggest you contact Graeme Brady at our office (01225 334111) and discuss the matter confidentially with him I am sure that we can put you in touch with people who can help.

I don't live in UK so don't know what is available but as far as no language and the frustration that must come from that can certainly lead to aggression. Has the school tried PEC systems. Picture exchange system While someone may not have speech they may be able to use pictures to show what they need or want.Sign language is also something that can be used. The frustration of not being able to let people know what they need or want or how they feel would be awful and there are many alternatives to speech. Hope this helps
