Mary Maher

Mary is a Health Psychologist who has been working with Studio 3 Clinical Services since July 2017. She is a Studio 3 trainer and has delivered Studio 3 Low Arousal training to staff, teachers and parents with Gheel Autism Services in Ireland since 2013.
Mary previously worked as a Parent Trainer with the Health Service Executive’s Intercountry Adoption Service in Dublin, Ireland. She is co-founder of the Parent Network for the Post Institutionalized Child Ireland, an organisation supporting families of children adopted from orphanages and group homes overseas. She is a former member of the Board of Directors of Gheel Autism Services.
Mary provides clinical support for a number of organisations in Ireland, including one-to-one support with individuals who have autism, intellectual disabilities and other conditions. She also undertakes assessments and other clinical services in collaboration with a Clinical Psychologist.
Mary delivers Low Arousal Training for families, parents and carers, as well as Trauma-Informed Care Training Using the SSRR Approach for residential and foster carers. Mary has an adult daughter with ASD, and is a passionate advocate for the neurodiversity movement. Her work and life experiences have led her to focus on supporting families around stress reduction, Low Arousal and overall well-being in order to provide insight and strategies to support individuals in family groups.
