Studio 3 Australia

Is Studio 3 Training For You?

This training is right for you if you:

  • Share our values and are committed to non-aversive approaches to supporting individuals that present with behavioral signs of distress.

  • Are an experienced supporter or practitioner in a position to provide training to others in the future.

  • Are passionate about being an agent of change towards non-restrictive behavioural management within your service or organisation.

  • Are looking to learn to be able to present with confidence to a room of people, and have the ability and willingness to role play scenarios associated with the course. You don't need to be an experienced trainer.

  • Can connect with others and respond to feedback in a constructive way.

We are excited to announce that in 2025, we will be bringing our highly specialised and research-based 'Train the Trainer' programme to Australia.

Become a Studio 3 Trainer

Delegates on our Train the Trainer course will learn to deliver Managing Signs of Stress training to families, professionals, and staff teams within their own services and organisations.

Studio 3’s Managing Signs of Distress Training equips supporters with the skills needed

to work with distressed individuals that present with behavioural signs of distress.

The course explores the use of person-centred Low Arousal Approaches by examining triggers, recognising when a person is struggling to self-regulate, and developing co-regulation and de-escalation techniques, all whilst thinking about environmental stressors, well-being, and avoiding the use of physical interventions or other restrictive practices.

This training will be delivered in two parts:

  • 5 day online introduction

  • Weeks 2 and 3 of training will be delivered in person at a venue in Adelaide

Coming Soon to Adelaide in 2025!
